United Aero Helicopters is a specialist remote area helicopter operator whose field of operation extends across all states of Australia, Papua New Guinea, East Timor and India.
Mining Support Aerial Survey is a very specific form of aviation requiring not only a thorough understanding of aircraft flight characteristics, but a finely tuned attention to detail in order to produce clean, noise free data.
The number one priority of any mission is to return safely, but also to be able to produce accurate, quiet data.
United Aero Helicopters pilots and trainers have dedicated many thousands of hours over the past 20 years flying in this role to produce what is regarded today as the most professional airborne geophysical survey company in the southern hemisphere. Our systems are audited to the highest standards year after year by companies such as BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto, as well as Federal and State Government Agencies.
Pilots for this specialised area of our business are carefully selected and after rigorous initial training, undergo regular periodic checks and supplementary training to ensure standards are maintained.
The United Aero Helicopters team has been working consistently throughout Australia and beyond on exploration projects for the past two decades and has recently completed jobs in Halls Creek, Meekatharra, Rawlina and Tullah on the West Coast of Tasmania.
